Andrew Cividino (he/him)
CO-PRESIDENT & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Andrew is a writer, director and founder of Film Forge. His debut feature, Sleeping Giant, premiered at Cannes Critics’ Week and won prizes at TIFF, Munich, and Mumbai.Andrew directed multiple episodes of the POPTV/CBC series Schitt’s Creek, earning an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Direction in a Comedy Series in 2020. Andrew’s upcoming projects include the feature films Cutblock, co-written with Trey Edward Shults, and Helpmeet, based on the novella by Naben Ruthnum.
An alumnus of Berlinale Talents, TIFF’s Len Blum Fellowship, and the Sundance Institute’s FilmTwo Lab, Andrew has won both DGC and Canadian Screen Awards for directing.
As a producer, he plays an active role in Film Forge’s slate, including serving as lead producer on Brandon Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool. He currently sits on Toronto Metropolitan University’s Film Program Advisory Board and is engaged in the creative support of all Film Forge projects from development through delivery.

Karen Harnisch (she/her)
CO-PRESIDENT & PRODUCER
Named one of Most Influential Women in International Film by The Hollywood Reporter, Karen is an acclaimed producer, line producer and lead creative on over a dozen feature films and series. Select credits include Shook, Infinity Pool, White Lie, Fail to Appear, M/M and Cividino’s debut Sleeping Giant. Karen has led physical production on studio and streamer-backed works including feature films Firestarter (Blumhouse/Universal) and Kiss of Death (Blumhouse), and TV series Slip (Boat Rocker/Roku) and Essex County (CBC/ITV).
Karen is a leading expert on international co-production and conventures, serving as Canada’s National Coordinator with EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs). She is an alumna of TIFF Studio, the EAVE Producers Workshop and The Torino Film Lab, and is a faculty member at Toronto Metropolitan University's School of Image Arts, where she teaches creative producing and film production.

Kathleen Meek (she/her)
VP, DEVELOPMENT
Kathleen is a highly respected content executive with 20 years of expertise spanning scripted television, documentary, factual, and feature film. As VP of Development at Film Forge, she spearheads the company’s television strategy while supporting its diverse slate of projects. She has held executive roles at CBC, Corus and Bell Media, contributing to original content development across Canada’s premier brands and platforms.
Previously Kathleen was Executive in Charge of Production for CBC Comedy, overseeing series Run the Burbs and North of North (Netflix/APTN). At Corus she was responsible for original programming for Global, History®, Showcase, and Adult Swim. Select credits include Departure (Global/Peacock), Robyn Hood (Global), Hardy Boys (Hulu/YTV), Psi Cops (Adult Swim), and Vikings (History/Netflix). At Bell Media, she oversaw pre-licensing of Canadian films and series Sensitive Skin (HBO Canada/Crave), Saving Hope (CTV), and Hip Hop Evolution (HBO Canada/Netflix). Kathleen is an active mentor and industry advisor, supporting talent initiatives such as Whistler Film Festival Producer Lab, PSP and WIFT. She’s served on various boards and programming juries including C21, the International Emmys, and imagineNATIVE.
